Linda Westberg was born in Sweden, but has had a very international upbringing. She has an undergraduate degree in international relations and political economy from the University of Sydney, and is currently doing an MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge. She has worked in the development field, with particular focus on education and culture, in Australia, India, Ecuador, Papua New Guinea and Belgium. Her professional interests include cultural mainstreaming, community-based economic initiatives, and education. With a passion for travel, trekking and discovering new cultures and languages, community based tourism is an ideal juxtaposition between her experiences and interests.
