Cambodia
Whilst striving to overcome the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge through the late 1970s, Cambodia has gradually emerged as a popular destination in Southeast Asia. With a past that is both intruiguing and horrific, it is easy to become immersed in Cambodia’s cities and ruins. Beyond the typical, albeit spectacular, destination of Angkor Wat, Cambodia has a huge amount to offer those who take the time to stick around and explore the less “touristy” areas. Reminiscent of other more developed Southeast Asian countries twenty years ago, Cambodia is a gem.
What’s the difference?
